On the morning of July 21, 2024, the 15th Meeting of the Second Council of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation was held online and offline at the Dalian Sun Valley (Huaxia) School. A total of 12 directors and supervisors attended the meeting. President Zhang Yinjun presided over the meeting.

Secretary-General Xing Haiyan delivered the work report
The meeting reviewed and approved the Work Report for the First Half of 2024 of Beijing Changier Education Foundation presented by Secretary-General Xing Haiyan. In the first half of 2024, President Zhang Yinjun was invited to attend the two sessions of the National People's Congress and the 15th Beijing Municipal Women's Congress, and participated in the China Economic and Social Council's special research expedition to Tibet aimed at "advancing rural revitalization in frontier regions". The Beijing Changier Education Foundation widely engaged in exchanges and collaborations with over 40 departments, social organizations, and enterprises, including the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Social Services Department of the Central Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, China Women Publishing House, China Women's News, Taiwan Chou Ta-Kuan Cultural and Educational Foundation, and Shenmo Group. Changier organized and participated in the 68th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women and a side event at the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, presenting China's perspectives. It also collaborated with UNICEF China to promote the development of child health education in China. Additionally, international students from 18 countries including the USA, Ireland, Japan, Australia, and Egypt, attending the Discover China Program at Beijing Foreign Studies University, visited Changier to gain a deeper understanding of the efforts and achievements of Chinese social organizations in promoting global youth health development. Changier's work in conducting people-to-people diplomacy has received high praise from the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality and other departments.
In the field of charitable projects, the Love Education initiative continues to advance, establishing 22 bases and workstations, supporting the construction of 28 Changier Huts, and organizing 405 outreach activities, teacher training sessions, and thematic events, benefiting 58,784 individuals. It also provided assistance to 114 students in difficult circumstances and children and youths affected by AIDS; published the Education of Love Series (My Body, My Decision: Youth Sex Education Primer and My Growth, My Responsibility: Puberty Sex Education Introduction), which were selected as 2023 Best Medical Book; Under the guidance of the United Front Work Department of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, it partnered with the New Social Stratum Association to set up the "Jinghua New Voice - Education of Love Charity Activity," a project to jointly protect the mental health of adolescents involving families, schools, and communities, thereby supporting the high-quality development of the new era in the capital and the construction of the Pinggu Agriculture Zhongguancun. Furthermore, exchanges and interactions with institutions and teams from the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Beijing Normal University, Capital Normal University, the China Family Education Society, Beijing Zhimu Psychology, and Guanxin Lab, among others were conducted to develop a curriculum system for mental health education. The Maternal Love Education program is being vigorously promoted, with the main Maternal Love Academy and 164 national branches being inaugurated. The "Searching for Mother's Stories" has reached Hangzhou, Shaoshan, Changsha, Hefei, and New Zealand, and a corresponding essay competition has been launched. A seminar on "Building Happy Families" was co-organized with the Women and Children Committee of the Central Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, the Peking University Research Center on Women's Issues in China and Abroad, and the Beijing Marriage and Family Research Association. Together with the Chou Ta-Kuan Cultural and Educational Foundation, Story Mommy Studio, the Institute of Healthy Yangtze River Delta, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and the Center for Taiwan Studies at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Changier held "Cross-Strait Life Education Seminar". Changier also organized the Fourth Yangtze River Delta Health Summit in 2024 and hosted the "Health, Maternal Love, and New Quality Productive Forces" sub-forum to further promote the deep development of maternal education. Under the Supreme People's Procuratorate's litigation-related assistance program, in conjunction with local procuratorial bodies nationwide, psychological counseling and comfort services have been delivered to petitioning citizens on 1,318 occasions. Additionally, the program has financially supported and offered aid to 92 students from impoverished households in provinces such as Hunan, Guangxi, and Qinghai.

The Council members and supervisors present at the meeting gave high praise to the work conducted by Changier and put forth suggestions and recommendations regarding further strengthening talent cultivation, reinforcing project management, cultivating a communication mindset, and broadening fundraising channels. They encouraged proactive efforts to overcome the current challenges faced by Changier, adopting a goal-oriented approach to deeply analyze issues and explore new ideas. Building upon existing effective practices, they urged the identification and rectification of weaknesses to continuously enhance operational capabilities. Additionally, they advocated for actively learning and leveraging online media resources in innovative ways to facilitate the execution of projects and fundraising, in order to achieve the established objectives.
The meeting also discussed the key tasks for the second half of the year and the preparations for the board change at the end of the year.
