On April 1, a remarkable cross-strait children's performance was held at the Hunan No. 1 Provincial People's Hospital by the Taiwan Down Syndrome Children's Orchestra and Hunan's "Little Life Warriors."

The theme of this public welfare activity was "Unify both sides of the Strait, let love take off". Invited by Chou Chin-Hua, founder of the Chou Ta-Kuan Cultural and Educational Foundation, and Guo Yinglan, the Chairperson, Zhang Yinjun, Chairperson of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, Gao Shuqun, Strategic Advisor and Director of the Mother's Love Education Committee of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, and Hsin-Wen Huang, founder of Shanghai Story Mommy Studio joined the event  at Hunan Provincial People's Hospital.

"I still have one foot, and with it, I want to explore the beautiful world." The poem titled "I Still Have One Foot," was written by a 9 years old child Chou Ta-Kuan.

"Although life is impermanent, each individual who respects and loves life can make it warm and bright," "Although Ta-Kuann's life froze at the age of 10, his love for and commitment to life will continue to grow like a seed towards the sun," said Chou Chin-Hua.

At this "Love Feast," the performances of Chou Ta-Kuan Down Syndrome Children's Orchestra climaxed one after another, while the "Little Life Warriors" from the Hunan Provincial People's Hospital displayed their invigorating spirits through diverse creative expressions, including dance, oration, and painting, all fostered by the unwavering love and support from the community.
