On May 13, the 2024 Taizhou family values and education thematic promotion month and "Telling Stories of Mothers Charity Tour" event was held at the Taixing City New Era Civilization Practice Center.

The event was jointly hosted by the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee Publicity Department, the Municipal Civilization Office, the Municipal Women's Federation, and the Municipal Education Bureau, and co-organized by the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, Taizhou Charity Federation, Taixing Municipal Party Committee Publicity Department, Taixing Municipal Civilization Office, Taixing Women's Federation, Taixing Education Bureau, and Taixing Convergence Media Center. Attendees included Liu Xia, Member of the Standing Committee of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee, Minister of the Publicity Department, and Vice Mayor; Zhang Yinjun, Deputy Director of the Women's and Children's Committee of the Central Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, Member of the China Economic and Social Council of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, and Dean of the general institute of the Maternal Love Academy; Xing Haiyan, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation and Vice Dean of the general institute of the Maternal Love Academy; and Du Mei, Deputy Director of the Academic Committee of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation and Vice Dean and Office Director of the general institute of the Maternal Love Academy.

To enhance the accessibility and relevance of family education, the synergy of family-school-community education, and to assist parents in addressing parenting challenges, the Taizhou Women's Federation mobilized grassroots women's federations and social organizations to apply for family education guidance service projects. At the event, Women's Federation presidents from various cities (districts) jointly released the 2024 Taizhou Family Education Guidance Service Project List.

Secretary-General Xing Haiyan detailed the model of family-school-community co-education promoted by the Changier Foundation, where "family" refers to the family where young people reside, "school" to schools supported by the Changier Huts, and "community" to the Maternal Love Academies established at the New Era Civilization Practice Centers. Schools invited experts to conduct family education classes. For parents with depth requirements for service or development, schools can refer them to Maternal Love Academies for systematic course training, group counseling, or individual consultations, aiming to serve all parents to the greatest extent and in the most accessible manner.

The "Maternal Love Academy," initiated and established by the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, is a charitable project that jointly protects the physical and mental health of adolescents through the collaboration of family, school, and community. Taizhou established its first batch of "Maternal Love Academies" based on six New Era Civilization Practice Centers across the city. During the event, Chairman Zhang Yinjun attended the plaque awarding ceremony for the "Maternal Love Academies" and presented plaques to each center. The "Telling Stories of Mothers Charity Tour," initiated and executed by the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, aims to find and disseminate touching and warm stories of mothers, promoting and inheriting excellent family traditions and fostering new trends in family civilization.

During the family values and education thematic promotion month, various activities such as family culture exhibitions, family education publicity weeks, and family tradition story relay speeches will be held.

At the event, the Shenmo Women's Federation specially appointed Chairman Zhang Yinjun as its Honorary Chairman, with Chairman Zhang Wenhua of the Shenmo Women's Federation presenting the appointment certificate.

The plaque awarding ceremony was also attended by Han Hongmei, Vice Principal of Shenmo Education Headquarters, Wang Lingling, Deputy Secretary-General and Director of the Project Department of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, Liao Shuilan, Director of the Commonweal Dissemination Department of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, Guo Suzhu, Deputy Director of the Project Department of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, along with 52 Shenmo principals and Hongyang Academy students.
