On June 14, the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, in collaboration with the Municipal Health Commission of Zhuzhou, the Zhuzhou Disease Control and Prevention Center, and the Zhuzhou Angel's Home Social Service Work Center, held the "First Session of the 2024 Adolescent Sexual Health Education Teacher Training Workshop" at the Zhuzhou Base of APEPCY. Liu Yinhuai, the Head of the Municipal Health Commission of Zhuzhou, and Cao Zheng'an, the Deputy Director of the Zhuzhou Disease Control and Prevention Center, presented completion certificates to the graduating trainees.

Classroom activities

From June 12 to 14, the Training Workshop fused group training with supervision. Combining theoretical lectures, group debates, role-plays, and hands-on exercises, it intertwines theory with practical application, demonstrative teaching and experiential learning, aiming to enhance the abilities of educators in conducting sex education. Fifty-one trainees from Zhuzhou City's county and district disease control and prevention centers, the APEPCY Zhuzhou Base public welfare lecture team, county hospitals, neighborhood health service centers, and township health centers, including those schools who have established Changier Huts, participated in the training.
