On January 24, the 14th meeting of the second Council of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation was convened in Shenzhen, The meeting was chaired by chairman Zhang Yinjun. All directors and supervisors were present.

At the beginning of the meeting, chairman Zhang presented letters of appreciation to each director and supervisor on behalf of the foundation. She stated that in 2023, the Beijing Changier Education Foundation successively received two prestigious honors, namely the "5A-Grade Social Organization" and the "China Charity Awards", with steady growth in revenue and expenditure from donations. These achievements would not have been possible without the participation and dedication of each director and supervisor. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude and sincere respect to all directors and supervisors for their concern and support for the foundation's work on behalf of the foundation.

The meeting appointed Huang Kangjing, chairman of Shenzhen LVGEM Entity Management Group Co., Ltd., as the honorary chairman of the foundation; elected Li Xianfeng as the vice chairman, and Wei Yingjie as a director. The meeting decided to remove Li Xiaorong from the position of director.

Secretary-general Xing Haiyan delivered a work report

The meeting reviewed and passed the "Work Summary of Beijing Changier Education Foundation in 2023, Work Plan in 2024 (Draft)" and "Financial Report of Beijing Changier Education Foundation in 2023 (Draft)" presented by secretary-general Xing Haiyan. In 2023, the Beijing Changier Education Foundation joined forces with the Supreme People's Procuratorate to launch a project on "Resolution of Disputes Concerning Law or Lawsuit Related Petitions Through Letters and Visits and Social Assistance"; successfully organized events including the "Youth AIDS Prevention Seminar", "The Third Yangtze River Delta Health Summit · Changier Forum", and the "Motherly Love Education for Rural Revitalization Symposium"; completed the filming of the movie "Changier"; compiled and published "Love Education Series"; established Huazhou Changier Experimental School and Lingnan Academy of Maternal Education. What's more, the foundation extensively promoted "Love's Education" for adolescents, established 1 working base and 101 Changier Huts in 14 provinces and direct-controlled municipalities, conducted 802 training seminars and public welfare lectures, sponsored 903 teachers and students in adversity, benefiting over 100,000 people. The foundation provided emergency assistance to flood-affected areas in Beijing and Hebei as well as the earthquake-stricken regions in Gansu and Qinghai with donating more than RMB 2.61 million in cash and goods; actively participated in United Nations system meetings, signed a "Memorandum of Strengthening International Cooperation in Women and Children's Development Affairs" with the Embassy of Armenia to China, and travelled to Cambodia for cultural exchanges and donation activities. In 2024, the foundation will prioritize the advancement of three major public welfare projects, namely "Love's Education Campus Tour," "Support for Students in Need," and "The involvement of Psychological Counselors in the Resolution of Disputes Concerning Law or Lawsuit Related Petitions Through Letters and Visits and Social Assistance", and actively promote the development of the organization and the collection of donations.

Supervisor Wang Yan

Supervisor Wang Yan read out the "2023 Supervisor Report of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation" at the meeting, and suggested that the foundation strengthen the management of material donations, objectively and fairly evaluate the value of donated items, and ensure complete procedures for the distribution and receipt of donated items. The foundation should regularly report back to donors on the use of donated funds and the implementation status of the project.

The directors and supervisors discussed issues related to project operation, brand promotion, the preservation and appreciation of funds, etc.. and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions.
