APEPCY Hunan Base

(I)

On April 11, Lan Xiaoqing, Deputy Director of the China APEPCY's Chenzhou Base in Hunan and a pioneering teacher from the Chenzhou Social Science Popularization and Lecture & "Hunan Changier Public Welfare Lecture" Chenzhou Lecture Team, together with her colleague Liu Yanghua, visited the Fifth Middle School in Chenzhou. They provided a psychological stress reduction group counseling session for over 2000 students in preparation for senior high school entrance examination.

(II)

On April 17, Teacher Li Jinjie, the Deputy Director of the APEPCY's Chenzhou Base in Hunan, and a lecturer for the Chenzhou team of the "Hunan Changier Public Welfare Lecture," visited Chenzhou Suyuan Middle School to deliver a lecture titled "Adolescent Physiology and Prevention of Sexual Assault Education" to over 1,000 students at the school.

(III)

On April 19, Li Jinjie, the Executive Deputy Director of the APEPCY's Chenzhou Base in Hunan, and a lecturer from the Chenzhou Social Science Popularization and Lecture & "Hunan Changier Public Welfare Lecture" Chenzhou Lecture Team, visited the 8th Complete Primary School in Chenzhou City. She conducted a lecture on sexual assault prevention titled "I Am the Owner of My Body" for more than 500 students from grades four to six.

(IV)

April 25 is National Children's Vaccination Day. Over 40 volunteers from the China APEPCY's Zhuzhou base in Hunan came to the branch venue at Hunan Traditional Chinese Medical College in Zhuzhou Vocational Education University Town, supporting the thematic promotional event.

(V)

On April 29, Li Jinjie, the executive deputy director of the APEPCY's Chenzhou Base in Hunan and a pioneering teacher from the Chenzhou Social Science Popularization and Lecture & "Hunan Changier Public Welfare Lecture" Chenzhou Lecture Team, was invited to Chenzhou Beihu Experimental Middle School to conduct an educational lecture on "I Am the Owner of My Body & Prevention of Sexual Assault" for the junior school freshmen.

On May 8, Duan Yafeng, a teacher from the Chenzhou Social Science Popularization and Lecture & "Hunan Changier Public Welfare Lecture" Chenzhou Lecture Team, was invited to Dongfeng Primary School in Chenzhou. He conducted a lecture "Mental Health for Minors" aimed at the fourth-grade students of the school.

(VII)

On May 11, 13, and 15, Meng Shujing, a teacher from the Chenzhou Social Science Popularization and Lecture & "Hunan Changier Public Welfare Lecture" Chenzhou Lecture Team, visited No.1 Middle School in Yongxing County, No.2 Middle School in Guiyang County, No.1 Middle School in Jiahe County, and No.1 Middle School in Anren County respectively, and conducted psychological health group counseling activities themed "Navigating the Mind, Wisely Reducing Stress" for over 1300 students facing high school entrance examination or college entrance examination.

(VIII)

On May 13, the APEPCY Hunan Base conducted "Education of Love Campus Tour—Preventing and Fighting AIDS & Disease Prevention" youth public health popularization lectures at Yangzheng Middle School and No.1 Middle School in Yizhang County. More than 800 students of the first and second years for senior study in the two schools participated.

(IX)

On May 16 and 23, Gu Cuilin, a teacher from the Chenzhou Social Science Popularization and Lecture & "Hunan Changier Public Welfare Lecture" Chenzhou Lecture Team, was invited to Yongquan Primary School in Beihu District of Chenzhou and Chenzhou No. 7 Complete Primary School respectively to conduct "Anti-bullying Education" lectures for the senior students in these two schools.

On May 18, the 2024 Linyi Forum (Public Section) —"Promoting Good Family Education and Cultivating Great Family Values" themed educational event was held in the third-floor lecture hall of Chenzhou Library. The event was organized by Chenzhou Library, co-sponsored by the Chenzhou Family Education Research Association and the APEPCY's Chenzhou Base in Hunan. Li Jinjie, the Executive Deputy Director of the APEPCY's Chenzhou Base in Hunan and a pioneering lecturer of the Chenzhou Social Science Popularization and Lecture & "Hunan Changier Public Welfare Lecture" Chenzhou Lecture Team, served as the main speaker at the event and it is attended by over 100 parents and children.

(XI)

From May 28 to 29, Li Jinjie,the Executive Deputy Director of the APEPCY's Chenzhou Base in Hunan and a pioneering lecturer of the Chenzhou Social Science Popularization and Lecture & "Hunan Changier Public Welfare Lecture" Chenzhou Lecture Team, visited Aoshang School and Bailutang Primary School in Suxian District, Chenzhou. She gave a themed lesson to sixth grade and first-year junior high students on "Preventing Sexual Assault and AIDS" and "Safeguarding Youth", contributing to their healthy development.

APEPCY Hegang Base

(I)

On April 16, the Third Middle School in Hegang City conducted an  event titled "Dialogue with 'Exams' — Stress-relief Sandplay Group Counseling for Senior High Grade Three Students", using sandplay as a medium to help relieve stress and empower students preparing for the college entrance examination. The event was led by Zhou Li, the teacher in charge of the "Changier Huts" at the Third Middle School, leader of the Heilongjiang Model Workers and Craftsmen Innovation Office, head of the psychology education and  research office, and deputy head of psychology for senior third grade. All students of the third year for senior high study in "Top Class" participated in the event.

(II)

On June 16 and 23, Du Li, a member of the Academic Committee of Beijing Changier Education Foundation and a pioneering teacher for APEPCY, conducted lectures on sexual health education titled “Being a Wise Parent: Guiding Children Smoothly Through Adolescence” for children, parents, and volunteers of the Hegang Association for the Promotion of Excellent Traditional Culture.

(III)

On June 29, Du Li, a member of the Academic Committee of Beijing Changier Education Foundation and a pioneering teacher for APEPCY, delivered two classes on mental health and sex education for children of Chinese classics reading class at Hegang Association for the Promotion of Excellent Traditional Culture and their parents. The classes were titled "I'm Growing Up — Understanding Physical Changes at Puberty" and "Interacting with the Opposite Sex during Puberty."

(IV)

On June 30, Du Li, a member of the Academic Committee of Beijing Changier Education Foundation and a pioneering teacher for APEPCY, conducted a special lecture titled "Do you understand your emotions?" for the teachers in the Socialist Core Values Propaganda Team of the Hegang Association for the Promotion of Excellent Traditional Culture.

Jiajia Primary School in Chengdu Eastern New Area

On April 10, more than 90 teachers and students from Jiajia Primary School in Chengdu Eastern New Area visited the Sichuan base of the APEPCY Heart Connection Initiative to participate in a study tour activity.

Dujiangyan Dingxinxinjian Primary School

(I)

On May 7, Wang Yutao, a teacher from the "Mental Health Education and Research Center" of the Dujiangyan Dingxinxinjian Primary School, delivered a mental health lesson titled "Preventing Sexual Assault, Protecting Healthy Growth" to fourth-grade students of the school.

(II)

On June 20, a lecture titled "Recognizing and Responding to Psychological Crises: A Discussion on the Identification and Intervention of Psychological Crises for Primary and Secondary Students" was held at the Dujiangyan Public Reading Center. The lecture was delivered by teacher Liao Changrong from the "Mental Health Education and Research Center" of Dujiangyan Dingxinxinjian Primary School.

Dujiangyan Yanjiang Primary School

On May 9, teachers He Li and Chen Hongwei from the Dujiangyan Psychological Development Center visited Dujiangyan Yanjiang Primary School. They conducted "Where I Come From" for first and second graders, and "Safeguarding Youth" lecture activities for fifth graders.

Dujiangyan Experimental High School

On May 12, Teacher Hu Zhen conducted two sex education lectures for the parents and children of junior high first-graders at Dujiangyan Experimental High School.

Dujiangyan Qingcheng Primary School

From May 21-23, the Beijing Changier Education Foundation's "Education of Love" charity event was held at Qingcheng Primary School, where a series of mental health week activities were provided for teachers and students.

Liao Changrong, a national third-level psychological counselor and a member of the Dujiangyan Mental Education Center, delivered a lecture on mental health education titled "Where Do I Come From" to first-grade students, teachers, and parents representatives at Qingcheng Primary School. Jing Dan, a national psychological counselor and member of the Dujiangyan Mental Education Center, delivered a mental health class titled "I am a boy; I am a girl" to second-grade teachers, students, and parent representatives at Qingcheng Primary School. National psychological counselor and member of the Dujiangyan Mental Education Center, teacher Ma Lin, delivered a mental health class titled "Be A Proactive and Positive Person" to sixth graders, their teachers, and parent representatives at Qingcheng Primary School.

Dujiangyan Tianma School

On June 25, He Li, a member of the Dujiangyan Psychological Development Center and a pioneering teacher of the APEPCY, delivered a lecture titled "Meeting A Better Self" to all female students of the junior high section at Dujiangyan Tianma School.

Grandpa Sun's Chat Room, Hongqiao Sub-district, Nantong City

On June 30, the Changier Hut of Grandpa Sun's Chat Room conducted the "Tie-dyeing Culture Promotes Communication, Composing A New Chapter with Ethnic Unity" event. This event allowed teenagers to try tie-dye techniques which not only promoted the inheritance of excellent traditional Chinese culture, but also further drove cultural exchange and integration.

APEPCY Mingde Base

(I)

On April 8, teacher Wang Feng from the APEPCY work station at Weifang Mingde Academy visited Mingde School to deliver an "Anti-bullying Campaign" lecture to the sixth-grade students.

(II)

On April 11, seven teachers including Tian Xiuhong from the APEPCY workstation at Weihai Mingde Academy entered Wangdao Elementary School in Weihai City, Shandong Province, to deliver a life education public welfare course titled "Where Do I Come From" for first-grade students.

(III)

On April 12, teachers from the APEPCY workstation at the Weifang Mingde Academy entered the Qijun Kindergarten in Weifang High-tech Zone. Teacher Yu Xinyan conducted sexual assault prevention education for the children in the top-level and mid-level classes.

(IV)

On April 14, the APEPCY Harbin Mingde Academy workstation visited the nursing home in Yongyuan Town, Daowai District, and carried out a social practice activity aimed at honoring and caring for the elderly. This event promoted the traditional Chinese virtues of "honoring, respecting, and loving" the elderly. It brought warm care and sincere greetings to the seniors, enhancing their sense of happiness and belonging.

(V)

The APEPCY Harbin Mingde Academy workstation, partnering with eight major philanthropic organizations, led students, volunteer teachers, and children from moral education classes in initiating a public welfare tree planting activity.

(VI)

On April 17, teachers from the APEPCY Weifang Mingde Academy workstation visited Chongde Kindergarten in the High-Tech Zone. Teacher Zhao Luyan conducted child sexual assault prevention education for the children in the top-level and mid-level classes.

(VII)

On April 18, Teacher Tian Xiuhong and six others from the APEPCY Weihai Mingde Academy workstation conducted an "Understanding My Body" educational lecture for the second-grade students at Wangdao Elementary School.

(VIII)

On April 22, teachers from the APEPCY Weifang Mingde Academy workstation visited the Zhongyiheyuan Kindergarten and conducted a safety education course themed "I Protect Myself".

(IX)

On April 25, teachers from the APEPCY Weifang Mingde Academy workstation visited the Ludong Fruit Wholesale Market, where they collected spoiled fruits from garbage bins and brought them back to produce eco-friendly enzymes. Applying enzymes in the soil can enhance the crops' resistance, reduce pestilence, boost crop vitality, and increase yield. Repay Mother Earth with your own efforts!

On April 29, teachers Xu Liqin, Yu Xinyan, and Yang Fan from the APEPCY Weifang Mingde Academy workstation visited Wolong Kindergarten to share the topic of "AIDS Prevention and Social Responsibility" with the teachers.

(XI)

On April 29, Tan Xiucui and seven other teachers from the APEPCY Weihai Mingde Academy workstation launched a public welfare course on family education titled "The Secret to Making Children Love Learning" for over 160 parents whose kids study at Wangdao Elementary School.

(XII)

From April 28 to 30, vice dean Wang Feng from the APEPCY Weifang Mingde Academy workstation, along with teachers Yang Fan and  Li Fengjun, visited the Wolong Kindergarten in the High-Tech Zone to conduct a half-day event for parents themed "Warm Companionship for Children".

(XIII)

The APEPCY Harbin Mingde Academy workstation organized a social practice activity called "Remembering History, Visiting the 731 Exhibition Hall".

(XIV)

On May 8, the Parent & School Department of Dalian Sun Valley (Huaxia) School, in collaboration with APEPCY teachers, delivered a parent workshop themed "Understanding Adolescence, Being A Guardian of Children's Happiness" for parents from six areas across the country. The course was divided into three major sections, thoroughly exploring the growth patterns of adolescents, parental responsibilities, and methods for dealing with early romantic relationships.

(XV)

On May 11, the APEPCY Quanzhou Mingde Academy workstation hosted a public welfare lecture on excellent traditional Chinese culture for Mother's Day at Quanxiu Experimental Primary School in Fengze District, Quanzhou City. Over 300 students attended the event and listened to the guest teacher's sharing on site.

(XVI)

On May 16, teachers from APEPCY Weifang Mingde Academy workstation visited the Yinfeng Kindergarten in the High-tech Zone to conduct a lecture on child sexual assault prevention safety education.

(XVII)

On May 21, the APEPCY Luoyang Mingde Academy workstation visited the Luoyang Xingzhi Experimental School to conduct a training session "Working Together: Educating the Future Talents at Both Home and School" for new parents of second-graders. Teacher Liu Luofeng delivered a special lecture on family education titled "The Power of Leading by Example" for the parents.

(XVIII)

On May 25, the APEPCY Weifang Mingde Academy workstation, in collaboration with the Bohya Art Training School No. 001234 Changier Hut in Kuiwen District and the Nanguan Street Community in Weicheng District, visited Xiangyang Road Primary School in Weicheng District. They held a grand book donation and shared a course on adolescence titled "Be the Best Of Yourself" for the children.

(XIX)

The APEPCY Guangdong Boyi Mingde Academy workstation conducted the "Show Gratitude, Protect Childishness" parent-child event on Children's Day.

(XX)

During the Dragon Boat Festival, the APEPCY Yongcheng Mingde Academy workstation hosted a series of activities. Participants engaged in activities like tracing the origins of the Dragon Boat Festival, learning about the spirit of great figures, making zongzi (rice dumplings), and tying colorful strings, experiencing the charm of traditional culture.

(XXI)

From June 13 to 14, teachers from the APEPCY Weifang Mingde Academy workstation visited Sifang Kindergarten, Xincheng Kindergarten, and Wolong Kindergarten. Teachers Xin Yan and Teng Yun conducted the "Dad and Mom Love Me, I Love Dad and Mom" promotional event for the children.

On June 19, the Changier Hut of Jinpu New District Academy visited Xiangying Primary School in Jinzhou District, Dalian, where teacher Peng Yongna held a lecture on "Elementary School Puberty Education" for the students.

(XXIII)

On June 30, APEPCY pioneering teacher, member of the Dujiangyan Mental Education Center, and member of the psychological center at Dujiangyan Dingxinxinjian Primary School, teacher Liao Changrong, conducted the "Be the Guardian Angel of Your Body" course for middle-grade students at Harbin Mingde Academy. For older students, the course "Your Youth" was offered, and a lecture on "Discussion on Crisis Recognition and Intervention for Primary and Secondary School Students" was held for the academy's teachers.
