From April 28 to 30, Cai Dafeng, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and Chairman of the Central Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy (CAPD), led a research team from the CAPD Central Committee to Bijie City and Jinsha County in Guizhou Province, to conduct research on the "region + field" group assistance work in Bijie.

The research team visited Minzu Senior High School of Bijie and Experimental School Affiliated to Jinsha Education Research Institute, where they visited Changier Huts, psychological counseling room, and group counseling room to learn about the development of the schools' mental health education programs. The research team also attended the Basic Education Reform Symposium of the CAPD Central Committee, and visited the Bijie Experimental Zone. At the Jinsha Education Research Institute and the Shuangxing Community of Pingba Town, they listened to work reports and visited local officials and the public.

On the 30th, the research team held a symposium in Jinsha County. Chairman Cai Dafeng attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting was chaired by Vice Chairman Wang Gang.

Chairman Cai Dafeng fully affirmed the achievements of the "region + field" group assistance work carried out by organizations at all levels of the CAPD. He said that since the establishment of the Bijie Experimental Zone, the CAPD has fully leveraged its unique characteristics and advantages, continuously participating in the construction of Bijie. It has focused on key tasks in various stages such as development-oriented poverty alleviation, ecological construction, targeted poverty alleviation, rural revitalization, and high-quality development. From targeted assistance to "region + field" group assistance, a series of service activities have been carried out, which have enhanced capabilities, amassed strength, and accumulated experience.

At the symposium, Chairman Zhang Yinjun expressed her gratitude to the CAPD Central Committee and its organizations at all levels, as well as to all sectors of society, who have long supported the development of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation. She also briefed on her and the Foundation's involvement in the aid programs in Bijie and Anlong. In September 2009, the CAPD Central Committee launched the "Rainbow Action" initiative in the Bijie Experimental Zone, focusing on providing intellectual assistance in education and healthcare to Jinsha County. Chairman Zhang Yinjun, who was then the director of the News Office at the China Charity Federation, actively coordinated with Sunstone Pharma to donate daily medicines for women and children worth RMB 1 million to Jinsha County. In 2021, the Changier Foundation donated RMB 226,000 to Jinsha County to help 113 disadvantage students to complete their studies. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Changier Foundation donated epidemic prevention materials worth RMB 1.439 million to Jinsha and Hezhang Counties to support epidemic prevention and control efforts. The Changier Foundation invested over RMB 80,000 in funding and materials for two model Love Cottages at Minzu Senior High School of Bijie and Experimental School Affiliated to Jinsha Education Research Institute, providing them with psychological sand tables, group counseling chairs, multimedia teaching integrated machines, and other teaching equipment and auxiliary textbooks. In the future, it will also donate "Love Education" video courses worth RMB 2.88 million to more than 5,600 students in these two schools.

In Anlong County, during Zhang Yinjun's tenure as Secretary-General of the Heren Charitable Foundation in 2012, RMB 1 million was raised to help local schools build student dormitories. Since 2021, the Changier Foundation has constructed ten Love Cottages in local schools and communities, trained over 300 teachers, supported 200 students in difficulty, and donated English dictionary pens, psychological sand trays, multimedia teaching all-in-one machines, and other materials along with the "Love Education" video courses, totaling over RMB 14.51 million in value.

Zhang Yinjun stated that in the next step, the Changier Foundation will follow the working guideline of "focusing on the overall, policy-oriented, and fundamental aspects of basic education in Bijie City," establish a regular communication mechanism with the Social Service Department to keep abreast of the educational needs and development of Bijie City, strengthen coordination with the Kaiming Charity Foundation, and carry out assistance work in areas such as the construction of Love Cottages, sharing of educational resources, teacher training and exchange, introduction of quality educational resources, funding for disadvantaged students, and the organization of public welfare activities.
