The theme of the 30th World AIDS Day is " Right to Health". It is intended to explain that health is an inevitable requirement for promoting the comprehensive development of mankind, and it is also the common pursuit of the people. Everyone has the right to stay healthy, and people living with AIDS also have the equal right to health services.

"The experience of the past 11 years has taught me that love is the best vaccine for our fight against disease." Peng Liyuan, wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, said this when she attended WHO Goodwill Ambassador for Tuberculosis and AIDS Term Renewal and Award Ceremony on January 18th 2017.

Peng Liyuan's "care time" has been lasted for 11 years since 2006. She has called on many occasions that "the most damaging is in many cases discriminatory and indifferent sights." She visited AIDS villages, hugged infected children, and became their "mum Peng". She uses practical actions to bridge the gap between these children and the real world.

Hello!

It's a pleasure to see you again at Beidaihe Summer Camp this year! After a few months, are you all right with your studies and life? I still vividly remember the "Bullfighting Dance" you performed at the opening ceremony of this year's summer camp, the light steps, the cheerful music, and your faces full of sunny smiles reminded me of the scenes of our first met...

When I first met you in the spring of 2006, you were so young and fragile that I could hold you up easily. At that time, due to the double blow of disease and discrimination, your family was poor and life was difficult. The scenes I saw in your home are still unforgettable, your lonely expressions and helpless eyes lingered in my mind for years... I was sad and painful. I made a decision that is I would do my best to help you grow up healthily.

Every year since then, I have tried to arrange time to meet you as much as possible. I remember that we once get on the Tian'anmen Rostrum together, visited the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall and the exhibition of revolutionary history. We made public good advertisements for HIV/AIDS prevention  together, and participated in charity evening gala together to call for the elimination of discrimination and to spread HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment knowledge. We also participated in summer camp together, watched the sea and sunrise together, I share your fun and growth...

My little Gao Jun has now become an upper-grade primary school student, and he is more and more cheerful. Huang Xinlei is now a university student and fulfilled his university dream. Ren Nannan, who was not in good health back then, has also become a mother today and has a happy family... Watching you grow up day by day, witnessing you overcome misfortune and suffering with courage and strength, and win the present and future for yourselves, I am sincerely proud of you!

However, my children, please remember that your growth is inseparable from the care and love of the Party and the government, and from the people who have always cared for and helped yo. So please always keep a grateful heart and thank those teachers, doctors, uncles and aunties who have selflessly given you sincerely love.

I have heard of you talk about your dreams many times, and your imagination is rich and enviable. You want to be like pilots, teachers, doctors, scientists, singers, and so on. Dreams are the driving force for moving forward, and I am very pleased that you are so motivated. However, dreams cannot be realized overnight, I hope you can be down-to-earth, fearless of difficulties, firm in confidence, and proactive. I look forward to seeing you show your youthful powers on the broad stage of your life.
