A grand public good concert entitled “Beat AIDS with love, light up life with music.” was held in the Centennial Hall of Peking University on December 1st, 2016, the 29th World AIDS Day.

In the form of a classical music concerts that students enjoy, this event was expected to use music to arouse the care of HIV infected, to draw the attention of college students to the education of AIDS prevention and control, and to call for support of all sectors of society for youth AIDS prevention and control.

The concert was sponsored by AIDS Prevention Education Project for Chinese Youth, the Mantianxing Amateur Symphony Orchestra and the Communist Youth League Peking University Committee, co-sponsored by the China Association for the Prevention and Control of STD AIDS, the China Charities AID Foundation for Children, the China Red Ribbon Foundation, and the China Foundation for Prevention of STD and AIDS, and undertaken by Beijing Changier Education Foundation. More than 2000 people from all walks of life attended the concert.
