From November 1 to 3, the Beijing Changier Education Foundation hosted a public welfare training event titled "Learning and Experience of Psychodrama/Yi Shu Psychological Techniques" at the Nongguang Building in Chaoyang District, Beijing. Zhang Yinjun, Council Member of the China Economic and Social Council, Deputy Director of the Women and Children Committee of the Central Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, and President of Beijing Changier Education Foundation, Xing Haiyan, Vice President and Secretary-General of Beijing Changier Education Foundation, and Du Mei, Deputy Director of the Academic Committee, attended the event. The event featured special lectures by Wang Erdong and Zhong Lianghong, experts in consultation from the Tenth Prosecutorial Office of the Supreme People's Procuratorate. Over 100 psychological counselors from Beijing, Hunan, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Xinjiang, and other regions, who participated in resolving contradictions related to law-related and litigation-related petitions, attended the three-day psychodrama skills training activity.
During her speech, President Zhang Yinjun expressed her appreciation for the charitable spirit displayed by the participants in this project and extended her gratitude to the main lecturers, Wang Erdong and Zhong Lianghong, for their generous contribution to the course. In her speech, she highlighted that the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, in collaboration with third-party professionals such as psychological counselors and social workers, has established a public welfare project named "Psychological Counselors' Participation in Resolving Law-related and Litigation-related Petition Contradictions and Providing Social Assistance." Under the guidance of procuratorial bodies in some regions, psychological counselors are selected to assist in petition reception and procuratorial hearings at the 12309 Procuratorial Service Center. They also provided assistance to minors who faced difficulties due to cases, promoting the rule of law through psychological support, addressing both legal issues and emotional concerns. This psychodrama course is an essential part of the Changier series of public welfare courses, with plans to continue conducting related training activities on themes like "social work and mental health."
Teacher Chen Xiaoli from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, representing the participants, mentioned that when dealing with individuals involved in legal and petition disputes, it is crucial to help them relieve stress and manage emotions, seeking solutions from a more diverse perspective. Each counseling session is a chance for every counselor to grow and learn. Chen Xiaoli thanked the Changier public welfare project for building a learning and growth platform for all counselors and expressed her willingness to contribute to public welfare.

The training lasted for three days. In terms of course design, Wang Erdong and Zhong Lianghong focused on the application of psychodrama theoretical techniques in work. Using sociometric warm-up techniques, they led the participants to understand psychodrama through experience, learn, and attempt to apply theoretical techniques such as regional sociometry, spectrogram, circular sociometry, social atoms or sculpting. Based on the participants' actual experiences, they explained the basic process, essential elements, core philosophy, and application methods of related psychodramas. This activity also demonstrated and explained the one-on-one structured intervention mode of Yi Shu psychodrama, guiding participants to practically apply psychodrama techniques (doubling and rolereversal) and setting up special discussions to jointly study the specific application of this technique in diverse dispute resolution psychological services.
The two experts used their professional skills to make the otherwise complex theories lively and interesting. The participants learned from and shared with each other, with many expressing their willingness to become disseminators of love, transforming themselves from seekers of light into beacons illuminating others' paths to growth.
At the opening ceremony, President Zhang Yinjun and Secretary-General Xing Haiyan issued certificates of appointment to participants from various provinces and cities as members of the talent pool for the public welfare project "Psychological Counselors' Participation in Resolving Law-related and Litigation-related Petition Contradictions and Providing Social Assistance," expecting the experts and teachers to actively leverage their professional skills to make greater contributions to the development of teenagers' mental health education.
