On October 31, in order to implement the "Implementation Plan to Control the Spread of HIV/AIDS" by ten ministries and commissions of China, as well as the "Notice on Strengthening AIDS Prevention Education in Schools in the New Era" issued by the Ministry of Education and the National Health Commission, the "My Youth is under My Control " Red Ribbon Youth Campus Tour activity co-organized by the Beijing Changier Education Foundation was held at Chengdu Technological University.
Hao Yang, President of China Sexually Transmitted Diseases and AIDS Prevention and Control Association, Bai Yansong, the health ambassador of Red Ribbon, the first image ambassador of APEPCY and the famous host of CCTV, Feng Ying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Chengdu Technological University, and relevant leaders and guests from provincial and municipal health committees, the Red Cross Society, Pidu District Committee and Government, Sichuan Sexology Association and more than 50 colleges and universities in the province attended the event.
Feng Ying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Chengdu Technological University, pointed out in her speech that the focus and core of HIV/AIDS prevention and control in universities should be "education" rather than "treatment". Chengdu Technological University has always attached great importance to the HIV/AIDS prevention and health education of the students, proposed an effective "Five-in-One" health education system. She hopes that young university students will take the responsibility of their own health, disseminate HIV/AIDS prevention and control knowledge, and be volunteers for HIV/AIDS prevention and control.

Hao Yang, President of China Sexually Transmitted Diseases and AIDS Prevention and Control Association, and Zeng Linghe, second-level inspector of Health Commission of Sichuan Province, delivered speeches respectively, stressing that HIV/AIDS has become an important public health issue threatening the health of young students. The goal of ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030 remains a long way off which requires joint efforts from everyone. It is hoped that colleges and universities will play an active role with the goal of students' physical and mental health in mind, effectively implementing HIV/AIDS prevention and control education.
The interactive interview titled "Protect Yourself, Stay Away from AIDS" was hosted by Professor Cheng Jing, Director of Sichuan Research Center for Sexual Sociology and Sex Education of Chengdu Technological University and member of the Academic Committee of Beijing Changier Education Foundation. In the interview, Bai Yansong, a well-known presenter of CCTV, the Red Ribbon youth ambassador, and the first image ambassador of APEPCY, Cai Weiping, chief physician of the infectious diseases department at Guangzhou Eighth People's Hospital, Guangdong province, and Zhang Linglin, Deputy Director of Sichuan Center for Disease Control and Prevention and President of Sichuan Association of STD and AIDS Prevention and Control, engaged in a lively discussion with young university students.
The interview touched on topics such as "How far is HIV/AIDS from college students?", "How to protect oneself and avoid HIV/AIDS?", and "What should one do if they engage in unsafe sexual behavior or suspect infection?" Experts reminded young students to establish the correct sexual morality, learn and master relevant knowledge, and enhance their self-protection awareness and skills.

During the prize-winning Q&A session, the students actively participated, creating a lively atmosphere on site. The humorous answers from the experts and the enthusiastic applause from the audience pushed the atmosphere of the event to a climax.

Meanwhile, the "How to Conquer AIDS" HIV/AIDS prevention and control theme training camp was also launched in front of the Changhong Auditorium at Chengdu Technological University. The on-site activities were diverse and attracted the active participation of students.
