The support program for children in difficulty is a charity initiative launched to help children across the nation who are in poverty due to legal cases. The program is divided into two types of support: one-time assistance and long-term focused support, aiming to aid children who face particularly challenging living conditions and require long-term assistance until they reach 18 years of age. The project funds are raised and provided by the Beijing Changier Education Foundation. The Beijing Changier Education Foundation, with the mission of "promoting education concerning love for the youth and making love and kindness accessible to all," has been committed to the cause of youth health education for many years, and has provided assistance to more than 36,000 children and teenagers in need, directly benefiting over 31 million students, teachers, and parents. The support program for children in difficulty will take Shaanxi as its first stop, aiming to provide assistance to 36 children in need across the province, and implementing long-term support for 6 of them. The program will subsequently be carried out across the country.
Xing Zhijian, deputy procurator-general of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Procuratorate, stated that all acts of kindness should be respected and all good intentions should be praised. For many years, the Beijing Changier Education Foundation has been dedicated to charitable causes for young people, focusing on education in remote areas with great love and bringing hope to children who face difficulties in life, thus bringing sunlight to society. He emphasized that the impact of providing aid on a person is long-lasting. What appears to be a small act of kindness can profoundly influence the development of a person's character and ideals, as well as the cultivation of cultural values. It's not just about money; it's about inspiring the hearts of more disadvantaged young people. In the future, they will treat life, society, and the country with gratitude and generosity. For this event, the foundation has selected Shaanxi as the first stop for the juvenile rescue activities. The prosecutorial authorities of Shaanxi feel honored and motivated by this choice. They hope that the launch ceremony will establish a new platform, taking advantage of Shaanxi's unique strengths and solid work experience, to ensure that the related tasks are carried out effectively.
Also present at the symposium were representatives from the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, leaders from the Ninth and Tenth Procuratorial Departments of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Procuratorate, as well as leaders from the prosecutorial appeal departments of municipal procuratorates throughout the province.
