On November 24th, a 5-day team training session for mental health education personal were successfully concluded in the Lhasa Chengguan District. The training was hosted by the Lhasa Chengguan District Health Commission and Lhasa Chengguan District Center for Disease Prevention and Control, supported by the Lhasa Chengguan District Education and Sports Bureau, and organized by the Beijing Changier Education Foundation. The aim of this training was to train a group of professional backbone teachers in the field of psychological health services in the Lhasa Chengguan District, and to further promote youth psychological health services.

Since 2020, The Changier Foundation has established a work station in Lhasa Chengguan District and a base in Rikaze City. It has built Changier Huts in 32 schools in Lhasa Chengguan District and 20 schools in Rikaze City, providing continuous assistance to students in difficult situations, donating books, video courses, English translating pens, and epidemic prevention materials, and equipping some schools with psychological sandboxes, group counseling tables and chairs, and equipment.

Over the course of five days, the training included expert lectures, group discussions, group counseling activities, and scenario demonstrations. The content covered various areas including the Basis of Psychological Counseling, Curriculum Design and Implementation of Primary and Secondary School Psychological Education Activities, Common Psychological Problems and Solutions for Primary and Secondary School Students, Prevention and Intervention of Primary and Secondary School Psychological Crises, Individual Psychological Counseling and Skills, Sex Education and Psychological Health of Primary and Secondary School Students, Scientific Sex and Sex Education, Solutions to Sexual Psychological Problems in Primary and Secondary School Students, and Contents and Methods of Sexual Education in Primary and Secondary Schools.

More than 50 key personnel engaged in psychological health education from primary and secondary schools, municipal middle schools, and secondary vocational schools in Lhasa Chengguan District, as well as secondary schools in Ngari Prefecture and Naqu, which run schools off-site in Chengguan District, attended the training.
